Adopt-A-Street
The Adopt-A-Street Program allows volunteer organizations, groups, scouts, schools, or businesses to become active in their community by contributing toward the effort to maintain litter-free streets, parks, or other areas in the City. KSB currently has 17 different groups who have adopted streets. Adopt groups commit to clean their adopted area four times a year - two of those times are in conjunction with the KSB Spring and Fall Citywide cleanups. KSB provides a sign on the adopted street that identifies the organization who has adopted it. KSB also provides trash bags, supplies and equipment to use during the cleanups. Several streets are still available to be adopted. If you need more information, please call Bill Mauser at 265-5029. Thank you for helping us to continue our goal to Keep Slidell Beautiful
The Adopt-A-Street Guidelines and Agreement Form can be found at the bottom of this page, along with a list of street locations available for adoption.
