2026 Fall Citywide and Bayou Cleanup

Help us beautify our City by removing litter from our roadways and waterways and enhance our landscaping at Pearl's Garden. We'll also collect soft plastics and electronics to be recycled.

About The Event
This event encompasses four activities:
Roadway litter - indicate on your form where you would like to be assigned, otherwise you will be assigned a location the week before the event. Pick up supplies at Heritage Park outside restrooms between 8-9 am.
Bayou cleanup - as part of Keep Louisiana Beautiful's Love our Waterways event, we will be removing litter from Bayou Bonfouca. Please bring your own paddleboard, kayak or boat and all required life safety vests. We will supply grabbers and bags. Report to Heritage Park Marina before 9 am to receive your supplies.
Recycling - we will only need up to 8-10 volunteers to collect soft plastics and specific electronics. No tires.
Beautification - we will be doing landscape enhancements at Pearl's Garden in John Slidell Park. We will be planting shrubs and flowers, weeding and spreading pine mulch. Supplies will be available at John Slidell Park beginni…
