2026 Fall Citywide and Bayou Cleanup

This event encompasses four activities:

1. Roadway litter - indicate on your form where you would like to be assigned, otherwise you will be assigned a location the week before the event.

2. Bayou cleanup - as part of the Keep Louisiana Beautiful "Love our Waterways" month, we will be removing litter from Bayou Bonfouca. Please bring your own paddleboard, kayak or boat and all required life vests. We will supply grabbers and buckets. Each volunteer will receive a Keep Louisiana Beautiful "Love Our Waterways" t-shirt in addition to the Keep Slidell Beautiful volunteer t-shirt.

3. Recycling - we will only need up to 8-10 volunteers to collect soft plastics and specific electronics. No tires.

4. Beautification - we will be doing landscape enhancements at Pearl's Garden in John Slidell Park. We will be planting shrubs and flowers, weeding and spreading pine mulch.
